Scrapper’s Snips and Stitches resulted when I realized that retirement brought with it the time to complete some sewing projects that had taken the back burner for a long time. After those projects were completed, I decided to start using up the fabric scraps that had accumulated for more than a few years. That was in 2016. At that time, I focused on designing unique, hand-appliquéd tote bags. That idea has expanded into other things. Now, from my Branson, Missouri, home studio, Scrapper’s Snips and Stitches offers a variety of handmade fabric gift items crafted from fabric scraps, remnants, and repurposed denim.
Turning fabric scraps, remnants, and /or repurposed denim into fashionable and functional, one-of-a-kind, personal accessories and home decor items is very satisfying. Repurposed items are clearly identified as such. Currently, I offer handmade fabric gifts: handbags and accessories, pillows, table runners and placemats, bowl co-zees and aprons, baby items, children’s clothing, and more. Custom orders are always a consideration.
In addition to the products I make to sell through my online stop, I always consider requests for custom orders. If you have an idea, share it with me. Together, we might create something truly unique!
