The bracelet was about 7 inches before it was finished and tied. I use a stretch thread that is .7mm in diameter and very sturdy. The thread is stretched before and after beading to extend the life of the thread and improve flexibility. It is also closed with three square knots for longevity and finished with a drop of super glue for maximum security. It’s not recommended that the thread be exposed to water for long periods of time. I recommend rolling the bracelet on and off instead of stretching it wide to pass over your knuckles. Stretch thread is an elastic like any other. The more you tug and pull and stretch, the quicker it will lose its elasticity. If you take good care of your bracelet, you’ll enjoy it for years and years. I can modify the bracelet by adding or removing beads if you know the exact size of your wrist. I cannot guarantee I have the necessary beads in my inventory, but I will make every effort to accommodate any special order.
